“You use magic?”
This is somewhat accusatory in tone
“What weapon do you usually favor?” the master-of-arms asks, looking at Canary. “I’m sure we’ve got something here that suits you.”

“…Eh?”
I feign confusion. And then start panicking…
…
I was careless. I should’ve pretended to physically fix it… or it probably was the coin and…

“Aha!” Drakor held up a wooden handle. With a deft movement, he flicked open a hidden blade. “I knew they had one of these somewhere! It’s a spring-”
He trailed off, seeing Wanderer and Canary talking.
He expresses blatant confusion since this would appear to be quite obvious.
“And…wouldn’t it make sense to get equipment to aid your casting?”
“Oh, are you a sword-mage? We’ll want to make sure your armor’s not too restrictive, then—”
I could… either start an argument… or admit to it infront of everyone-including people I don’t really trust, that…

Drakor looked back and forth.

Or… Or I could…
I go completely silent. And dead still.
Their assumptions are theirs to make. I’m not saying anything I’m not agreeing to anything I’m not-
Drakor sneezed.
“Ah!” I jump.
As Drakor instinctively attempted to cover his face, he managed to scrape his arm with the spring blade that he was still holding in his hand. It was not a deep scrape, but a small trickle of blood began trickling from his arm.
He dropped the weapon on the ground, hissing slightly.
There goes that plan.
And I quickly look at Drakor in… measurable concern.
