Let’s see… (lack of) road maintenance, increase in soldier conscription, and frequent disappearance (which implies frequent reappearance).

Hm… Now why would someone like this buy history books…?

What is Eskil doing… Is he trying to find a casus belli or smth? That sounds nonsensical. What else would there be in history books? Outdated intel on military army? Culture? Geography?

Whatever it was, I doubt he had bought it for pure educational purposes.

On a side note, I have… vastly underestimated the area size of hospitals, even if only one-story tall.

Nah. Knowing Arius, he definitely needed that.

@Squirrel2412, Arius definitely needed that.

TIL Lv3 spells require one to be Lv5, excl. exceptions such as being a Vampire.

The weakest creatures these two entities can be are Vampire Spawns, and otherwise they are obviously much stronger than anything two Lv2 player characters can handle.

I assume the symbol of Urgathoa is not something to be trifled with either, especially when it was specified in the description that the symbol was drawn in such a way to differentiate themselves as devout believers.

. . .
Hey party, what the heck are these two creatures doing nearby the village of Hazel Ford anyway?

tbc, it’s drawn upside-down specifically to distinguish from the regular symbol of a devout believer, sorry if I was unclear

Wait, so these are (possibly) non-devout believers of Urgathoa?

(Zone. That quite frankly doesn’t matter much in macro scale, as it most likely wouldn’t change the issue that two entities of high level are residing inside the abandoned hospital.)
…and presumably they won’t lend us shelter, huh?
(…bro. That is what you’re worried about rn? Really?)
Hey, Arius and Wanderer need some form of shelter …unless the small tent Arius has is sufficient.
(…nah. You right.)

regular fly (especially if decorated with a skull): “yay Urgathoa! I sincerely worship Urgathoa!”

upside-down fly: “:warning: Plague house or similar :warning:”

does that make sense

Yes, thank you.

TL;DR
Everyone except Wanderer and Arius are at Amélie’s. We’re currently at the abandoned hospital, and uh… there are at least two entities inside who are under the effect of the Lv3 spell Gaseous Form.

Rika’s memory may be excellent but I forgot the newspapers were mentioned in the visions. She’ll come back for them tomorrow

It’s 1 AM now. I’m going to sleep. :sleepingleafeon:
See y’all in 5 hours.

Dang. Time flies, huh?
I didn’t know five hours can feel like two.

Drakor doesn’t worry about martial threats that much (see: moving into attack range of a morningstar), but dark magic is something he is relatively uninformed about and therefore respects it as a threat considerably more

if they’re incorporeal or something i’d like to wish you all good luck as my only real attacking tool right now isn’t actually magickal

Ye, nah. I agree with ya.

Sorry Hazel Ford, but unless those creatures are not Evil-aligned, then our party has jack **** against the monsters inside the abandoned hospital.

The literal smallest solace would be that whatever things live there are considerate enough to warn plebs and commoners to stay away from the building with red-painted symbols of the goddess of (among others) disease.

*researches more about Urgathoa*
Oh ****. Yeah, no. We die if we go there.
