Apart from her jewelry, Amélie dresses like a well-to-do Brevic merchant, and she’s clearly keeping up with the current styles. (This is a notable divergence from her staff, who are wearing a uniform with the same stereotypically-Galtan-but-not-what-actual-Galtans-would-actually-wear aesthetic as the rest of the inn.)
Amélie publicly presents herself as the daughter of a merchant family who supported the Red Revolution (the Galtan revolution, initially against Infernal Chelish rule) at first but was forced to flee once it turned on itself. But listening to her speak, her accent has the sound of specifically an aristocratic Galtan accent. Given the decades that have passed since the revolution, it’s unlikely that this translates to any sort of meaningful power or influence — indeed, within Galt, it would be at best a liability — but it’s definitely a Notable Difference from how she publicly presents herself.
Well, I can’t interrogate her right now.
(Paprika has not prepared her “omega get arrested” ability. Everybody clap and cheer for her benevolence)
Paprika approaches the table where Amélie is dining. “Good evening. How do you do?”
(what do the other patrons look like?)
Besides Amélie, you also notice:
Assuming that you walk around the whole perimeter of the building after casting it, you’re able to identify two faint magic auras! Both seem to be located in the central wing of the building, and are moving very slowly within that wing. You may additionally make a K(Arcana) check to attempt to determine the associated school of magic.
“Quite well, and you? I hope you are finding the accommodations agreeable.”
“I am. I have found myself in an unusual traveling situation. The quality of your accommodations has been a very welcome bit of respite in these times.”
With this sentence, Paprika smiles warmly.
“Has business been treating you well recently?”
She smiles politely at you. “It has, yes. It’s been quite brisk this month.”

Drakor nodded to himself, then turned his attention to the ongoing conversation between Rika and Amelie.
(am I close enough to eavesdrop?)
You are easily able to identify the spell as belonging to the Transmutation school. In fact, your grasp of the magical structure of the spell is so strong that you can even identify the specific spell — Gaseous Form, which temporarily transforms the target into an insubstantial, misty substance, limiting what they can do but making it much more difficult to harm them.
(I would say so, yes)
(Notably, although the building is boarded up, there are enough cracks that you would normally expect someone in Gaseous Form to be able to pass through it. It doesn’t allow the target to pass through a completely solid surface, but the building is not airtight.)
Arius relays the information he gathered to Wanderer.
((@Geyde, I just checked, and apparently Gaseous Form is a lv3 spell. I don’t think we will be able to win a 2v2 combat, considering your character is a non-combatant.))
((Do you think diplomacy is possibly on the table?))
(Can Rika Sense Motive to figure out whether Amelie is tolerant of this conversation/what she’d want to talk about? If so nya)
