i hate it here
(i find it a little funny how we all just decided it’s either half orc or bust. we’re all either playing as half orc or human. no other races.)
canary’s party facing sooo well… look at all the information she’s getting about a drunk guy. getting. fired from his job.
hey guys what if the drunk guy had problematic political opinions let’s discuss that
my pet theory is that the bartender is an alchemist
he’s a cleric
*Canary only did it a certain percentage out of concern. she also had the motive of being concerned about her group
tragic
he could conceivably be a multiclass build
fwiw I have a specific method in mind for how he achieved this, and I think it is ~possible to deduce it if you specifically invest time in deducing it
(you may reasonably prefer not to do that)
if we’re assuming both spells were daze it’s a little weird that he cast both twice within a minute then, ja?
so he has to be higher leveled to like
a significant degree
cause I think there’s more than one daze like spell (i think another is called daze monster?)
daze monster is theoretically level 1 so he could be a lvl2 summoner/cleric I suppose. or just a lvl 4 cleric.
cleric can’t use either daze
if I’m interpreting this right alchemists or their hybrid classes can use extracts to functionally cast spells without like, actually casting spells
but they also don’t have access to daze
also, Still Spell + Silent Spell would push it up a couple levels
so if my understanding is correct it would be plausible for the guy to be a x level cleric but at least a. 7th level summoner. (or another class but higher level I guess)
or a wizard 7, or a sorcerer 8, or a wizard 3/rogue 1/arcane trickster 5,
or he has some other way to do it
