Absolutely based
It was pretty good in retrospect that you persisted with making your game go to the end and made it as enjoyable as possible for the others.
Designwise it’s very bad if the game abruptly stops (I were co-hosting a danganrompa game with Eliza on a discord server and the game took a break and it completely ruined the momentum) or it has such a screeching delay, even though is unavoidable. There needs to be a way to damage control people’s interest for the game when these happens.
I am on a forum with Satori, Taka and Magnus (Ashlyn/Aelin joined temporarily aswell) all related about danganrompa setup games, a solution here against timezones was to give the players 48h to decide their actions and then when the time was up, every single player would do their action all at once and then get feedback.
Alternatively, give players hints to where to go or what to do.
And also, I got to say I really really enjoy RPing with other players and even with the NPCs, it’s very eggciting!
Oh yeah Litten joined too
as magnus is a proper noun it would be grammatically correct to use Magnus’s
live eternally in agony before this cursed knowledge
I refuse to acknowledge
plural nouns only have an apostrophe, if they end in s
proper nouns that end in s would be grammatically correct to use either
for simplicity’s sake, i choose to use an apostrophe at the end of whatever something ends in an s uses for possession
A blightness is right!
You’ll find a way.
dead men shall not exist again
Somehow Balloony returned.
nobody killed him the first time
he just ran away
So who’s hosting the next one?
I’m joking.
oh, and i found these
Character relevant details
“The Gravedigger”
Name: Unknown
Gender: Male
Relative Height: 172 cm (5’8)
Clothing and Accessories: Wears an open, black leather jacket. Underneath, there appears to be a white, buckled shirt.
Hair colour and style: Black, and short-cut. He likely uses a comb.
“The Engineer”
Name: Carlson
Gender: Male.
Relative Height: 175 cm (5’9)
Clothing and Accessories: Seems to be wearing workman’s clothing, with a strange, striped shirt underneath a leather apron
Hair colour and style: Blond, all over the place. He doesn’t seem to own a comb, evidently
Backstory: The man… simply came here to create glorious inventions. Not much else is known
Motivation: See above
Relationships with other characters: Seems to be acquaintances with the ghost and dollmaker. Seems to know the gravedigger, and considers him creepy.
Why are they still here?: No reason to leave
Other details: Seems to be a younger man, around mid 20s. Has some spunk to him, but seems decently frightened most things
“The Dollmaker”
Name: Olivia, known by the Ghost pointing it out
Gender: Female
Relative Height: 165 cm (5’5)
Clothing and Accessories: A strange, somewhat frilly green dress. Somewhat similar to what a doll would be wearing, which seems to be the design choice behind it.
Eye Colour: Grey.
Hair colour and style: Brownish hair.
Backstory: Unknown of most motivation, but she seemed to have followed the ghost down her, by her own accord. Seems to be decently happy living down here, surprisingly
“The Phantom ”
Name: Marilyn
Gender: Female.
Relative Height: 159 cm (5’7)
Clothing and Accessories: Wears an old hat, and a suit akin to an office worker’s.
Eye Colour: Vaguely brown.
Hair colour and style: Vaguely brown, wears a strange hat, covering most of the top of her head. Her hair is straight, however.
“The Auctioneer”
Name: Doctor Drew Michigan
Gender: Male.
Relative Height: 180 cm (5’11)
Clothing and Accessories: Wears a suit and tie, as if he was just attending a fancy party. Seems unreasonably clean, and too fancy
Hair colour and style: Black. Seems to be straight
Backstory: The man has no known origin. He came here, and he died here. The gamemaster guided his every move, until he was proven useless to it, after the group of nine came.
Motivation: Self Survival.
Relationships with other characters: Seems to be unfriendly with Marilyn, by her discontent. He mentioned the Shopkeeper as being creepy, but not much else is said
Why are they still here?: No choice in the matter
Other details: None.
these are partial details from a computer file found ingame, written by i think “stonewall” who was just meant to be a dead executive
the players had to transfer files on his computer, of which they couldn’t open, to another computer in zone three to be openable, of which being the phantoms and dollmakers
if they didnt transfer the files, they couldn’t figure out those details
this was only particularly of use to magnus, but was meant for world building otherwise
the “i think”, “seems”, and “we were told” was mostly from incharacter perspective, they’re accurate
I think I still had that host energy, involving me in the plot.
Well, I am still trying to figure out my RPG
@Atlas thanks again for hosting this! Even if it was way longer than any of us expected, it was fun
I don’t actually think the survivor wincon was terrible, but the caveat that I had to ensure that I was one of the last 2 players to escape was an odd technicality since I couldn’t just escape and win (that’s why I asked at the end if either Stick or Deryn would be willing to escape first), and it was also more beneficial to me to try to keep everyone alive rather than murdering them all in cold blood because I didn’t have high enough stats to solo against NPC adversaries. I got the sense that I probably should have tried to murder other players to advance toward my wincon faster, but pissing off people with failed murder attempts wasn’t really viable if I wanted to guarantee my own survival.
Hello Windy, how have you been?
