FAM3: REDEMPTION [THREAD 5] - [d4 - TOWN WIN] FAM3 if Marluxion was instantaneously killed (real)

The final member of the mafia, @Ashlyn, has opted to concede. She was:

4357_2

Marluna

You are Marluna, Mafia Spell Forger. A connoisseur of miscellaneous games here, you seem to prefer roleplay to forum mafia – although you have been dipping your toes into the mafia games as of recent. In this game, you will combine the two.

Elemental Crucible (Passive): You will open a public shop at the beginning of each Night (This continues after your death). A maximum of 1 item can be purchased per player per Night for 1000 Mana. A player can only purchase any given item once per game. Each item in stock will have a positive effect that is only revealed to the purchasing player, and a negative effect that they are not informed of. You know the negative effects of all items. The shop contains the following items:

  • Fire Essence (Negative Effect) : Lose your ITA shot on the next Day after consuming this.
  • Wild Essence (Negative Effect) : Lose 5% ITA accuracy permanently.
  • Water Essence (Negative Effect) : The ITA accuracy of shots targeting you are increased by 10% permanently.
  • Ice Essence (Negative Effect) : You will be blocked the next Night after using the granted action.
  • Air Essence (Negative Effect) : The Mafia will Track you when you use the granted action.
  • Earth Essence (Negative Effect) : You and players targeted by the granted action cannot be protected for the rest of the game.
  • Holy Essence (Negative Effect) : The Mafia will be informed of items you purchase, and their positive effects ( including this one). Only 1 member of the Mafia may purchase this each Night.
  • Dark Essence (Negative Effect) : Actions you use no longer benefit from positive modifiers. Only 1 member of the Mafia may purchase this each Night.

Mana Infusion (Day): Give 1000 Mana to a number of chosen other players equal to 1/6th of the living players, rounded up, or 2, whichever is greater.

You win the game if no more threats to the Mafia exist or nothing can prevent that from happening.

Congratulations to the Town for winning.

Surviving Villager Role PMs

Chloe

Italy

Italy

You are Italy, Town Wild West. For some reason, you thought it was a good idea to host Wild West 2, a large mountainous ITA game. However, your attempts to create a tense, interesting mountainous game were stymied by long stretches of no shots hitting. This game, you’ve decided to make absolutely certain that something hits.

The Law (Odd Night): Designate target player as the Sheriff and another target player as the Deputy until the end of the next Day. If the Sheriff dies before the start of the next ITA window, the Deputy becomes the Sheriff. The Sheriff receives an additional ITA shot, and their first ITA shot has 100% accuracy.

The Noose (Even Night): Designate target player as the Bandit until the end of the next Day. The Bandit has 100% ITA vulnerability.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

WindwardAway

Blizer

Blizer

You are Blizer, Town Raid Boss. As an oldhead of FoL, you have witnessed the rise and fall of nations, the eruption of stars, and some of the most dumb shit to ever grace the annals of setup design history. It really has been a chaotic set of years, hasn’t it? And such, taking in the infinite potential of the stars, you…wait…why’s boss music playing?

Prepare to Fry Edition (Passive): You control the Elden Beast. Its presence is made known with thunderous notice at the start of the game.

Starcaller’s Cry (Must be submitted in first 12 hours, Day, Immediate): Have the Elden Beast do one of the following actions. This action and its targets will be announced to all players and will resolve the night after you use it (except for Elden Stars). All players may, during the night, vote privately on who they would like the shot to be redirected to. The highest-voted one above 5 votes will become the new target, with one of the voters being blocked at random.

  • Elden Stars: The Elden Beast shoots target player with 20 ITA shots at 2% accuracy during the next ITA window.
  • Divine Punishment: The Elden Beast blocks target player, and the targeted player cannot be protected.
  • Black Hole Teleport: The Elden Beast commutes target player. You may target yourself.
  • Wave of Gold: The Elden Beast shoots target player with an ITA shot at 24% accuracy. If that shot misses, it shoots ITA shots at 12% accuracy targeting the players above and below the targeted player in the player list. If all shots have missed, it shoots ITA shots at 6% accuracy targeting the first 2 players above and below the targeted player that have not been fired at by the Elden Beast yet.
  • Ringed Explosion: The Elden Beast grants target player a bulletproof vest. Once the player’s vest pops, they will become a compulsive suicide bomber that must detonate by the end of the next phase.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Jane

Zorvo

Zorvo

You are Zorvo, Town Saga JoaT. You have been known under a variety of usernames throughout your time on FoL (and elsewhere). This game, you’ll have a chance to revisit that, with different abilities representing your different eras. You’ll even get the chance to employ your trademark strategy: the ChopChop method!

Flygon (Night 1): Kill target player with fewer than 25 posts.

Majora (Night 2): Summon the Moon to crash down on target player. They will die 12 hours into the following Day. The targeted player is informed of this.

ChopChop (Night 3): Submit a post you made on Day 1 where you expressed a town read on 1 or more players. Block target player if you expressed a town read on them in the submitted post.

Zorvo (Night 4): Commute yourself. It will be publicly announced that you left the site. You will return at the start of Night 5.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Hazardwaste

Dum

Dum

You are Dum, Town Deputy. In your very first game on the site, Diamond Arc Crossing, you forgot to post on day 1, but after that you were very active, making hundreds of posts before your death on night 4. This game, we’re hearkening back to that, and giving you a similar ability to “level up” your strength.

Not So Dum (Passive): You have a 30% ITA hit rate.

Take up the Cause (Passive): When a town player with a killing action dies, you can immediately replace your card with theirs.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Inherited:

sulit

sulit

You are sulit, Town Cat Vigilante. You are known for many things, but this time we’re focusing on the most important one: your cats. Your grey cat, Honeycat, is an iconic FoL cat, but you’ve also adopted two other cats, including a black cat named Void. This game, Voidcat will be represented by a void.

Void (Night): Curse target player to go to the Void . It will be publicly announced that a player has been Cursed, and will be sent to the Void at the end of the Day. A player sent to the Void dies. If you die, all Curses are removed.

Toast (Passive): You are in a neighborhood called Toast’s Domain, which will close when you die. Players you kill will join Toast’s Domain instead of dead chat if they are a member of the Town or have an unknown alignment. If a player in Toast’s Domain is ever revealed to not be a member of the Town, they are removed.

Honey (Cycle, Immediate): Remove chosen player from Toast’s Domain.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Jaiden

Jaiden

You are Jaiden, Town Popcorn Woman. On at least twenty separate occasions across multiple servers and mediums of communication I have seen you talk about your favorite setup, POPCORN MAN. I know for a fact that your favorite feature of POPCORN MAN is that the Popcorn Man (of Popcorn Man fame) can shoot themselves in order to extend the day.

We cannot allow you to do that, for so, so many reasons. And we’re not turning this entire mash into a popcorn game for your benefit. So we’re going for a compromise: you can get shots by being shot at and extend ITA sessions very slightly. Truly, the FAM3 hosting team is pushing new boundaries in flavor fidelity.

Popcorn Man Theme Song (real) (Passive) - The first time you are hit by an ITA shot each Day, you live instead of dying, your base ITA accuracy is increased to 50%, and the ITA window will last an additional 15 minutes.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Eliza

ElizaThePsycho

You are ElizaThePsycho, Town Likejutsu Practitioner (Pink Belt). Many believe that, when you like posts for seemingly no reason, you simply have a more liberal definition of what makes a post likeable. In truth, however, you are the practitioner of a deeply secret martial art that allows you to convert liked posts on Fortress of Lies Dot Com… into power.

You begin the game with 5 Ki charges.

Grand Likejutsu Technique #1: [ box in ] (Night): Spend 2 Ki charges, and submit a series of 5 consecutive posts you have Liked in the following pattern:

LIKED
LIKED
NOT LIKED - Target
LIKED
LIKED
Fig 1: Box In

You will remove all of your target’s abilities permanently.

Grand Likejutsu Technique #2: [ holy joy serpent technique ] (Night): Spend 2 Ki charges, and submit a series of 10 consecutive posts you have Liked in the following pattern

NOT LIKED - Target 1
LIKED
NOT LIKED
LIKED

NOT LIKED - Target 2
Fig 2: Holy Joy Serpent Technique

You will permanently remove all but 1% of Target 1’s ITA accuracy, and give it to Target 2.

Grand Likejutsu Technique #3: [ walter white falling over dot gif ] (NIght): Spend 1 Ki charge, and submit a single post:

LIKED - EXPRESSES A WOLF/SCUMREAD AGAINST YOU - Target
Fig 3: Walter White Falling Over Gif

You will become immune to all negative effects (including ITAs) originating from that player, and they will be sent this gif in their night results.

You win the game if no more threats to the Mafia exist or nothing can prevent that from happening.

eevee

You are eevee, Town Botanist. Among other things, you are known for your unusual and innovative role design. This time we’re giving you the chance to try out one of your roles, the Botanist, for yourself. You’re even a scientist in real life, so this actually makes total sense!

You start with 8 Seed Charges.

Gift Flower (Night): Spend up to 2 Seed Charges, and give X target players a Sprout where X is the number of Seed Charges spent. Sprouts bloom into a Flower at the end of the next Day. The first time a player with a Flower would die during the Night, all Flowers wilt and die instead.

Here is your role!

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Wazza

Napoleon

Napoleon

You are Napoleon, Town Returning Player. Once an active player both in ToL and on FoL, you have recently semi-returned from a long hiatus. We know that it’s not always easy for players to jump back into forum mafia, so we’re making sure your role supports you, by making sure you have examples to learn from. Lots of examples.

Re-learn How To Play (Passive): Whenever a member of the Town dies and flips, gain access to each non-Charged, non-X-shot role action that player had which could not kill other players with the additional text: “Lose this action once you use it.” If the action was Compulsive, it will not be for you.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Whysper

Whysper

You are Whysper, Town Archivist. One of your less-recognized contributions to the site is that you were personally responsible for establishing the FoL archive, currently located at https://fol-archive.netlify.app/. Thanks to you, everyone who was part of “old FoL” can access nearly all their games. This game, your work as an archivist will benefit you as well.

Read Logs (Passive): At the end of every night, you will receive a copy of the current text of all Last Wills you distributed to players. Players who receive Last Wills will be informed that this is possible.

fol-archive.netlify.app (Night): Give target player a Last Will. They may update it at any time. The last version they submit will be posted upon their death.

WindwardAway

WindwardAway

You are WindwardAway, Town OMGUSer. You are a widely-respected player on FoL, known for being a strong player as both alignments. You were the Season 9 FoL champs rep, where you advanced to semi-finals. You’re even a mod! We’ve designed a role to highlight your unique skill set!

No you (Night): OMGUS target player. If the OMGUSed player targets you with an action during the Night, the effect of that action happens to the OMGUSed player instead if able. This action is processed before any other actions.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Litten (yes, he randed himself)

Litten

Litten

You are Litten, Town Survivor. Sometimes, you’re a town powerhouse, and die night 1. Other times, you don’t die night 1, and end up being a strong voice leading town, for good or for ill. This time, we’ve given you a role that can make good use of either dying night 1, or living a long time.

Just don’t die in the middle. Should be easy, right? I mean, it’s only a 58-player ITA game!

Legacy (Passive): If you die on the first night, you continue as a tree stump for the following day, with a single ITA shot with base 20% accuracy.

Growing Thread Control (Passive): You start with base 1% ITA accuracy. Whenever a player dies, your ITA hit rate increases by 2%. Whenever four players die, you gain 1% ITA dodge.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Apocryphal

Apprentice

You are Apprentice, Town Prisoner’s Dilemma GOAT. You are the danger. A guy joins a misc and gets dunked on immediately and people think that of you? No. You are the one who betrays!

Prisoner’s Dilemma (Night): Force target player to participate in a Game with you during the next Day. Players participating in a Game may communicate privately in a neighborhood, and must choose either Cooperate or Steal before the end of the Day. Based on the choices made, the following will happen:

  • Both players choose Cooperate: Both players permanently gain 5% ITA accuracy.
  • Both players choose Steal: Both players permanently lose 5% ITA accuracy.
  • One player chooses Cooperate, one player chooses Steal: The player who chose Cooperate permanently loses 10% ITA accuracy, the player who chose Steal permanently gains 10% ITA accuracy.

how the fuck do people keep falling for this lol (Passive): If you pick Steal and the other player picks Cooperate, you will be protected from kills during the following Night, and the other player will unable to be protected from kills permanently.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Demisha

You are Demisha, Town Complexifier. You hail from the far off lands of DanganWerewolf, with interesting opinions on setup design. Many look upon these ideas as questionable, a bad idea, or other misnomers. I, however, value the spirit deeply. Now go make someone a complete abomination lmao

You start with 4 Act Charges.

Super High School Abomination Against Humanity (Night, 1-shot): Consume 3 Act Charges and increase the apparent Complexity of a player’s role.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Achromatic

Achromatic

You are Achromatic, Town Leader. Since joining last year, you have become known for your assertive playstyle, which often involves convincing other players to work with you. Regardless of your alignment, you regularly take on leadership roles within the thread, and when you rand town, you frequently die night 1.

You start with 7 Hero Charges.

Stronger Together (Passive): All players shooting at an ITA target that you have also shot at today will receive a +5% bonus to hit.

Take Charge (Day 2+, Immediate): Spend 6 Hero Charges and gladiate target player, forcing one of you to be executed today. Neither of you will be targetable by day abilities after you activate this. This occurs alongside the normal execution as a second execution.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.

unused role due to complicated pregame misranding bullshit

guavagudetama

You are guavagudetama, Town Bloodbag Handler. A player new to the FoL scene this year, but older in mafia. A person who plays through their heart with every moment. When you get invested in a game, you get invested hard. Always in that social deduction mindset, playing a large range from your limited time in Among Us to your time playing Deceit. You have been accepted as an FoLer by your own words and as such are a role in this game which isn’t even an Innocent but is still town.

Blood Bag Missing (Passive): Learn who receives a Blood Bag each night and how many items each of those players has.

Blood Bag (Night): Give someone a Blood Bag Item.

Blood Bag
Item (Night): Give the blood bag to someone else.
