If I were to play with a new character, then I would investigate the abandoned hospital, and probably die for attempting to investigate anything related to entities that can cast Gaseous Form.
However, I play as Arius, and thus far he simply follows Wanderer’s (and I suppose Rika’s) lead, because “following the leader never sounds like a bad idea”. (Even if we want to abandon character and go to logistics, I can say that fighting solo is a generally bad idea. Case in point: [Zelsh vs Giant Spiders] and [Bugibugi vs Giant Spiders].)

AFAIK we know he’s preparing for war, but the details as to where he disappears to is still a mystery. We will / should probably travel towards a village closer to his territory to “gather more accurate information”. (Sorry. Zone is just… bad with reading the room and comprehending the status quo.)

This cult may or may not be unrelated to Baron Dalin, but in Zone’s mind he believes that approaching the enemy’s (i.e., Dalin’s) territory would be a far more worthwhile action. Arius wouldn’t let harm befall upon Hazel Ford if he could help it, but Zone genuinely doesn’t care if the cultists run rampant and destroys the town.
Arius wants to get the Watch to check out the abandoned hospital, but Rafau dismissed that plan and realistically speaking Zone sees no way to convince Valtyr and [tall, muscular man] to… do anything, really.
–speaking of “Zone sucks at comprehending status quo”: IDK what to do with P#6247. I am somehow very out of the loop. I know neither why the letter is of relevance, nor why the date is of relevance, nor how the letter is related to the cult. I am basically waiting for Geyde and May to figure something out to progress our storyline.
