Mechanical Clarifications

We are announcing the following mechanical clarifications at this time.

Unless specified otherwise, players may only use one ability from their role per night. This does not include factional actions or items/prizes that are not part of their role.

Unless specified otherwise, players may not self-target.

Unless specified otherwise, players may not target the same player with the same role ability in two consecutive cycles.

Unless specified otherwise, players may not use abilities on night 0.

Factional abilities are carried unless otherwise stated. A single player may only carry one factional action per night unless there are more factional actions than living members of the faction.

Instantaneous Day actions process immediately (or at the time they are queued for). Other day actions process at the end of the day or start of the night.

Players with Charges may ask at any time how many Charges they have and receive a truthful answer.

Charge changes as the result of using an action (charges spent on that action or gained from it) you will not informed because the change can reasonably be inferred.

Charge changes as the result of an external action will be informed of.

If a player is blocked while using an ability with Charges or limited shots, the charges or shots are still consumed.

Roles will be sent shortly. We will make another announcement when all roles have been sent.

You are Jarek, Mafia Realistic CPR Doctor. You have twice been an even-night CPR doctor, but when you think about it, the flavor doesn’t really make sense. What kind of CPR doctor can’t tell the difference between a healthy, conscious person, and someone bleeding out from a gunshot? Why does it kill uninjured people, but do zero damage whatsoever to people who were at risk of death? This game, you’re going to set the record straight.

You begin the game with 0 Medicine Charges.

fun fact: the average EMT job in the US pays $42,334 per year (Day, Immediate): Burgle target player, and steal a charge if able. Charges stolen this way become Medicine Charges.

Crack Ribcage (Night): Consume 1 Medicine Charge and set target player’s base ITA accuracy to 0% during the next Day. (ITA accuracy buffs still apply.)

You win the game if no more threats to the Mafia exist or nothing can prevent that from happening.

You are Jane, Town Analyst. Although you rarely play anymore, you typically have sharp and accurate reads – usually demonstrated in the spectator chat of any given game. You got the chance to demonstrate this in action during the recent Wild West FM game, when you correctly solved the game in F5 after replacing in shortly before and eliminated them both. This game, we’re giving you a role that plays to your strengths.

Retrospective (Passive): Whenever a player you fired an ITA shot or ended a Day voting for dies, and is not a member of the Town, gain 1 Towncred Charge.

Accusation (Night): Roleblock target player. This action is modified based on your Towncred charges:

1+: Additionally, learn who the player would have visited.

2+: This action cannot be protected against.

3+: This action resolves before all other actions.

4+: Commute the targeted player instead of Roleblock.

Spectators Can’t Die (Passive): If you have at least 6 Towncred charges, gain 1 Bullet-proof Vest.

Get Results (Passive): Your base ITA accuracy changes based on your Towncred charges:

0-4: 15%

5-9: 30%

10+: 45%

LyLo Negation (Day): Kill target player. You may only use this action if you have at least 11 Towncred charges.

You win the game when the Mafia and all other threats to the Town have been eliminated.
