I have gotten sleep and feel better. Time to play mafia. Before solving, responding to EoD threads.
First: Marl, I was just sheeping catbae on beancat to see what happened.
Jaiden: So one of the ways I had to act differently than normal v achromatic last game was my defense of Leafia. I implicitly gaslit you last game as scum in order to defend her and I successfully won my game by establishing this line and keeping it through the game until the very end. Not to be unkind to Leafia, but she isn’t one that needs to be voted ASAP day one to be solved. I figured going into this game, pre-rand mind you, that your play around me would be enlightening to your alignment just on the basis of how you went about your process on me. The fact that you thought I would ever ‘miss’ this intention as either alignment is underestimating my perception.
Late into the day, through tired eyes, I thought perhaps your guise against me was just a leaning into expectations and you could be scum and so I voiced that suspicion. However, reviewing this game during my morning it became clear you are spewed clear by both the flipped wolf as well as my most likely scum suspects. (Spoilers)
As it relates to my claim/tired post where I stepped back for awhile, please don’t ever use emotions to read me. I don’t AtE as either alignment on principle, and any emotions I might have about the game will largely be NAI. If you thought I was scum before, don’t let me being in a bad mood stop you after. It would strip me of my dignity as a mafia player if the best defense I could muster for myself is the fact that I was just feeling burned out yesterday.
Finally, my partner has a rare afternoon off and I am going to be spending a lot of today (calendar not game wise) with her. I’ll probably pop in more in the evening, but otherwise just make sure to notify me in some way if you have questions, concerns, or cool anime gifs to show me. Otherwise I might miss it until I can do a full read through.

That’s it from Kanave. Not much there. Jaiden gets added to the town pile with Catbae, Zorvo, Magnus, and Demisha get a healthy chunk of town equity. Not a lot here, but it’s something.
There were three people (unless I missed something) that kanave didn’t name. I think I can safely eliminate the scum team of Marluna/Marl/Beancat unless Kanave had herself a fun day one completely ignoring her scum team. Additionally what stuck out to me was that she expressed a null read of Molly which feels slightly partnered considering she took so many other light stances about others, so that could be something.
Moving onto the wagons:

So I am not going to overthink this and just give Magnus a town read that I won’t bother to re-evaluate before LYLO even without any further information. It’s just incredibly rare that scum bus scum all day like this. In addition to the first three people on Kanave already being cleared town, I am extending that to Jackrito who voted early enough when the wagon needed help to be boosted above the fray and ensure it kept momentum.
So the interesting thing about this end of day is there wasn’t a lot of movement anywhere aside from Beancat or to Kanave, however what is missing from the final count is that Jaiden/lol/marluna were trying to stir up an Achromatic wagon that was opposing the scum goon wagon. Jaiden is clear, however this puts a spotlight on Marluna and lol for opposing a late wagon on scum. However, I don’t think they can be aligned together and here is why.
After they left their vote on me, marluna joined me on beancat and lol went to Kanave. Now if beancat is mafia and is power this ironically looks worse for them because even though they were agreeing to kill mafia it was in favor of a quickly building scum power lynch. On the other hand, if Beancat is town lol will look better for going with the scum lynch (although not cleared, because it is possible for a player who has played over 500 games to do quick calculus and make a bus decision) whereas now Marluna will have joined two town wagons over opting to pick sides at EoD when asked to earlier. So at most there is, from my vantage, 1 scum in the three people who voted me and there’s space to believe it’s 0.
If Beancat is scum catbae is 100% locktown. Marluna looks better as well for trying to make that wagon a thing.
My next town clear is going to be marl. There are 0 marl worlds where instead of pushing (assumed) idle town achromatic marl just votes sleep and let kanave go over there. That’s not a thing. I won’t bother going into more detail here, but if he is ever pushed seriously for whatever reason just review end of day one and realize you’re wrong.
Then after that for similar reasons we have catbae who argued against my wagon when he could have easily switched it up and agreed my post was fake and probably successfully have swayed others and saved kanave. Letting kanave go down there was beyond needless as scum. Oh and I just noticed before I voted beancat they were helping to solidify the kanave train so all the better for them. Not a lock just because I think this bus on a mafia goon is possible, but good enough for now.
So now I am down to this poe with these assumptions in mind:

I think I believe this is genuine, oft unaligned. Which is now interesting because in my poe I have lol unaligned with 3 of the 6 others
So at this juncture the team is molly/lol/zorvo/beancat if lol is scum AND if I am accurate otherwise.

Lol doesn’t really know my stance on AtE and the marl partnership thought I’d clearly unhinged town imo. I think given the lack of viable partners in my poe along with their takes being ok all told I am fine putting lol at a strong town lean. Not quite clear but certainly a lot of compelling evidence to suggesting town.
Oh. I missed this. Fair play by lol here. I would have voted me too. I think this is never anything less than a decent townlean and I am probably being conservative here just because I don’t know lol or their wolf range, but they come off feeling genuine and just doing their thing.

Though if town it is incredibly based we came to the same conclusion lol. Actually that equity I will put zorvo in null. Maybe he is having a good town game if my own reads are right and it is just his style that’s bothering me. I think if I didn’t feel like multiple suspects were treating him like scum KP in their handling of them this would just be a town lean. More than likely though one way or another he will be resolved mechanically so it isn’t worth me worrying about additionally.

So I started out wanting to find 12 townies and I feel really good about 8. I could tinfoil Catbae a little if Beancat is indeed town but not worth my time most likely. Town leans are also ordered so I feel best about lol in that group of three, mostly because of a seeming lack of viable partners unless I have missed the plot.

I checked who pushed Kanave yesterday and my investigation wound up concluding that I can only award credit to myself because I was the only person actively pushing for this until the wagon swing in the last minute of EoD; I’d give credit to Leafia and Phraze for supporting me on the push but they’re claimed masons so I can’t do that lol
At least maybe it’ll mitigate any lingering concerns people might have about just accepting them as a mason pair
Speaking of that wagon swing, it briefly made me think the wagon was maybe on a townie (hence the comment at EoD) but the fact it flipped mafia makes me feel a bit better about Jaiden and lol in particular; as catbae and Marluna made the beancat wagon rise in prominence, Jaiden and lol slammed their votes on Kanave which ultimately prompted catbae to vote Kanave as well and secured a mafia death
If beancat is town then I would just lock Jaiden and lol town for this, if wagons were w/w with beancat pr then maybe we can start talking about bussing the weaker role but honestly I don’t think it’s worth considering at the moment and jaiden/lol are ?probably? just town anyway
